ARTIST STATEMENT:
 
The Save ME in this artwork started as a reference to plastic bottle tops but morphed to represent so many other elements.

Save…Our Oceans
Save…Our anxiety filled youth concerned about their future
Save…(The viewer is encouraged to add their own)
 
These 1575 plastic bottle tops were saved from local landfill to deliver an important message. “Our local Envirobanks do not recycle this brightly coloured resource and charities unable to process any more, have this week pressed ‘Pause’.”
